Dr. Angela Chapman is an Associate Professor of Science Education in the College of Education and P-16 Integration at UTRGV. She has over 27 years of experience as a science educator and science teacher educator. Her research focuses on issues of equity and access in STEM education and strategies to improve participation of historically underrepresented groups. Her role involves developing curriculum, coordinating STEM summer camps, and conducting research on how gender in informal settings affects learning of and motivation toward STEM, including careers in the transportation field.
