Speaker Bio
Dr. Christine Pribbenow is a Senior Scientist at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her career is centered on broadening and increasing participation in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine) fields and overall workforce diversity through the development and evaluation of educational programs and interventions. For the previous twenty+ years, she has worked with other scientists, faculty and staff to improve the climate and culture of the working and learning environments at both the K-12 and postsecondary education levels. She is currently the PI on the Fair Play Project (NIH-R25GM114002, 2015-2025, PI: Pribbenow), and has served as director of evaluation and principal investigator (PI) on multiple National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), and other foundation and university-funded grants.
