Name
A Freshman Year Research Intensive Sequence for Improving Inclusive Equity in Research Training
Description
Mentored UREs are effective interventions that engage undergraduates in research. However, many faculty lack time and resources to provide research mentoring at a sufficient level. In this session, we introduce the First Year Research Intensive Sequence (FYRIS) that prepares students for research mentoring and provide data-driven evidence of the intervention’s efficacy.
